[ At first when the camera clicks on there's a full-face close up. It seems she gets the hang of it after a few moments, realises it's much too close to her face and moves it a little further away.

She looks a bit hesitant, as if she regrets recording this, and shy. But then she gathers a bit more courage and speaks up. ]

Um.. Now the rain is gone, does that mean the other bad things will go away too?

[ She recalls the fear of the past days, but what had really scared her was that even the older, reliable grownups had been scared. She frowns a little at that thought, but tries to smile again. ]

My teacher at school told us that after rain there's always sunshine! So it's okay, right?

[ She should've expected people she doesn't know to reply too and did expect it, but she still looks a bit nervous because of it. ]

Well, it's not always bad.. B-but in that kind of weather people could have caught a cold.

[ Her voice trails off, she doesn't want to argue with grownups because she doesn't like it at all. Besides, she couldn't win against them either way. ]

[ It's as if she doesn't realise until now that she's talking to a stranger and turns a bit more timid, but the happiness is there all the same. ]

D-do you think we can find it?

And the sunshine will help things grow, right? All the pretty flowers!

[He smiles gently, turning the screen away towards a clump of flowers growing near the base of one of the massive trees at the edge of the forest.]

[ There's a gasp and then an admiring sound at those flowers. ]

How pretty..! Do lots of pretty flowers like those grow here?

It should rain more then. It would be sad if the poor flowers didn't get any water.. Oh, maybe we should water them instead sometime when there's no rain for a while!

Of course we can! Maybe if there's an empty barrel in the inn's cellar we can make a rain barrel out of it and use that to water them, huh? Sound like a good idea?

It's weird to not see on tv what the weather will be though. Now it's a surprise for everyone.
