[ When the feed starts, the look this girl is giving the screen is.. a little curious and surprised, perhaps, but there's something knowing in it as well. Perhaps that's why instead of being completely shocked, there's a small smile on the teenager's face as well when she looks at the camera. ]

[ She cuts herself off, breaking out into a chuckle as she brushes back some brown hair falling from one of her ponytails. This girl might look very familiar to most people - after all, even if she's looking older there's something familiar in those facial features, in those ponytails.. ]

Well, this was a surprise.. That much is for sure. I wouldn't think there's some secret portal in Junes leading to this place, so I suppose I was taken here randomly again, huh?

It's been so long, though.. [ She's staring around herself in wonder, studying the surroundings so intensely that she almost seems to forget for a moment that the camera is running -- she doesn't remember until she looks at the device. There's something embarassed flashing across her face for a moment, but then she shakes it off, a smaller smile this time. ]

I'm not the only one here this time, right..? [ a very, very slight giggle. ] That would be sort of awkward.

[Saki shifts, clearly uncomfortable and doing her best not to show it.]

Yeah, a whole... eight months and I'm still alive. Weird, huh?

[ Yes, that subject is a bit more awkward for Nanako too - Saki is dead back home, after all, has been for quite some time now.. ]

Hmm. [ She nods a bit. She still looks somewhat awkward, but she manages a very tiny smile. ]

Last time I was here I was.. um.. seven, right? So it's been almost ten years now..

[Saki has so many questions, feeling the cracks in her expression under the force of them, but keeps her tone mild - if a little shaky.]

How are - things? Back in Inaba, I mean. [She has no reason to assume that Nanako knows or cares about her family, but anything else - the school, the store, even bloody Junes - ]

Everything is.. well, I guess just like normal. A while ago they completely renovated Junes, it's seriously state-of-the-art there right now.

[ since obviously Nanako would keep up with Junes forever.. Part of it sounds slightly unsure though, perhaps because of that slight crack in Saki's demeanor. ]

Yeah, that sounds about right.

[ She stares at the device for a moment or two, struck by silence in her surprise. She's a little worried at how it cut off suddenly, but..

Maybe she shouldn't inquire, huh. The feed is already off either way by now, so she just shrugs a little to herself and continues on. ]
